PETALING JAYA: It's the final call for those who have yet to submit their views on the coming Budget 2013.
Today is the last day to put in your ideas at http://1malaysia.com.my/ on what you would like to see in the Budget.
As of 6pm yesterday, 2,443 people have submitted 2,584 suggestions to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Among the top concerns are housing, cost of living, prices of Proton cars and education.
A commentator called Terryyck called on the Government to look into the prices of residential properties.
“I hope the Government will do something about the skyrocketing price of houses available for the rakyat,” Terryyck wrote.
Cik Kiah from Perlis proposed that the Government increase tax relief for children.
“RM1,000 per year for one child is no longer relevant to the cost of living now.”

AmenoWorld from Perak pointed out that car manufacturers in Japan and
South Korea could still profit even though their cars were sold cheaper
in their own countries.
Md Som from Puchong suggested that the
Government improve on the public transportation system, especially in
the city to reduce traffic congestion, pollution and to save money on
toll payment.
On July 16, Najib invited Malaysians to submit
their views and assured that their input and ideas would be considered
by the Finance Ministry and that he looked forward to discovering fresh
ideas and potential solutions from them.
He is scheduled to table the Budget on Sept 28.
